Week 8

This week, reading the talk “Loyalty”, by President Hinckley, I learned about being  loyal to the Church, and I pondered that there are many opportunities when we are tested, to prove that we are loyal to the covenants made with the Lord. So, I learned that I have a responsibility to be loyal to Him and to show with the example to my family and another that need to be strengthened in their testimony of the work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
After that, I learned from the talk “Leadership with a Small "L"”, by President Kim B. Clark, that I have a great responsibility to teaching my daughter about the Lord Jesus Christ. My daughter is 5 months old, but I feel the responsibility to be prepared when she will be ready to learn, to teach her with my example, and to share my testimony very often about our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Ghost, and the covenants that she will need to live in the true gospel.
From the videos “Hiring Ethical People” and “Aspects of Building Trust”, I learned that I must to take care another, to weld customers to the business, offering what I would like to receive. Also, I learned that I must to trust in customers first and they will trust me.
When I read “A Message to Garcia”, I remembered when my father taught me about that letter, because he taught me that when something is asked, I should find the way to do the things, being self-reliant.
From the reading “How to Start an Entrepreneurial Revolution”, I learned some prescriptions to sustain an entrepreneurial ecosystem, and the seventh prescription “Stress the Roots”, made me to ponder that the roots of an organization that are spread beyond possible, caused by the adverse circumstances, makes that the organization grow steadily when the enough money to sustain it comes.
Lastly, from the book, “So You Want to Be an Entrepreneur? I learned that I must to know what I want to do in the life, to make my vision. And I need to be specific in my mission statement, establishing specific dates to get done the planned.
